Jamaal Newton

A native of Harlem, NYC, Jamaal Newton was introduced to salvation of the Lord at the tender age of 14, under the Great Gospel Tent in New York city, and received the fire of the Holy Ghost at the age of 18. His hidden talents became more evident as his relationship grew closer with the Lord.

 

The Lord’s hand was evident and clear on what He had called Minister Newton to do. After moving to Connecticut, Jamaalbegan the work of ministry to help aid his father, Pastor, Bishop Ezekiel Newton. With the grace of God, Bishop Newton, founded a new church plant in the city of New Haven, CT. It was there where Minister Newton had the opportunity to serve under the leadership of the late Apostle William Brown, the founder of Salvation and Deliverance Ministries Worldwide.  

 

Minister Newton believes he has been called to share the message of Christ through music ministry.  While serving faithfully at his local church assembly, without ever receiving a lesson, he began playing drums and piano. After some development and furthering his education in music and ministry, Minister Newton became the Minister of Music at the Salvation and Deliverance church in New Haven, CT where he operates faithfully in the capacity of a Praise & Worship leader.

 

After adhering the call of ministry and receiving endless confirmation, Jamaal Newton was ordained as Minister under the late Apostle William Brown. Soon there after, Minister Jamaal was ordained as the Youth Pastor. Jamaal is the establishmentarian Winning Word Church of Christ.  Jamaal believes in presenting holistic ministry. He is married to Keonia Newton, and the father of Laila Marie Newton.

 

Beyond the pulpit, Jamaal has recently launched his solo music project. Since his launch, he has had the esteemed honor of winning the Tom Joyner's Big Break Competition in Milford, CT and has gone on to win American Idol Experience in Orlando, FL. He has latest single, "Already Done" has been sweeping the charts and gaining global recognition. 

Jamaal intends to acknowledge the Lord in all of his ways. He is an asset to the Kingdom of God and threat to the enemy.
