Jason Hendrickson or J.Hen as most people call him was bornand raised in Brooklyn, NY. He is the third of five children born to Lawrence Hendrickson Sr and Willie Lee Lindsay. Jason is a singer, musician, songwriter, producer, preacher, and a newly published author. Jason grew up in the church and joined the music department at the age of five. This is where he began to pursue his destiny, and his love for music.

 

Jason is one of the most exciting and powerful gifts in the kingdom. He serves faithfully as the Senior Pastor of The Restoration Tabernacle in Brooklyn NY which was founded in May 2012. Jason is an accomplished musician that has recorded several albums and has traveled all over the world spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ thru the music ministry. Jason has shared platforms with some of the greatest gifts in the gospel arena, such as Pastor Darryl Hill, Pastor Marvin Sapp, Pastor Jamal Bryant, Bishop Hezekiah Walker, Fred Hammond, Juanita Bynum, Youthful Praise, , The Committee Music Group and James Hall and Worship and Praise just to name a few.

 

Jason is also the author of a book entitled “You’re Not My Daddy” Guidelines to Becoming a Successful Stepfather. Jason has been a stepfather for 23 years now; in this book he shares his victories and his failures of dealing with this most delicate situation. He is also the founder of The Nusoundz Music Ministries, and has recently released his New Single “Great Things” which has received national acclaim. Jason has also just signed a new record deal with Godfather Records, the label founded by the late Rev. Timothy Wright. Jason can also be heard on the #1 Gospel Station WLIB 1190 everyday singing the theme song “Afternoon Praise” for Bishop Hezekiah Walker’s show “Afternoon Praise” which he wrote and co-produced. Jason also has two songs On Marvin Sapp’s project “Here I Am” as well as one song on the latest project from Dr. Sapp “I Win”.

 

Along with all of these accomplishments Jason is married to his beautiful wife Monique, and together they have three beautiful daughters, Brittany, Akyra, and Courtney. Jason has also received an honorary Doctorate Degree in Sacred Music from ABG Seminary.

 

Jason is a young man with a vision, a vision to impact people across this world with the several gifts and talents, but most of all the anointing that God has placed in his life. As he travels across the nation singing, preaching, meeting all the people that are a part of his destiny he wants them all to know that “Whatever we want to do with ease, we must first do with diligence” and with God all things are possible.
